Choosing the right
Instructor is very important. You will want to meet with
an instructor before you spend a dime on music lessons.
Unlike many instructors I will not waste your time and
money, and each lesson will be packed with information
and tools that will improve your playing every time. I
want you to come see why I am the best choice for

I provide customized
lessons for adults and children of any ability. If you
are looking to learn how to play Guitar, Bass Guitar,
Piano or would like to learn how to sing, you have come
to the right place. I will customize your lessons based
on the style or styles you would like to learn. Here are
a couple of the styles you can learn:
Classical, Flamenco, Jazz / New Age, Rock, Pop,
Gospel, Country & More!
In 1985, I began my journey as a
musician on the violin. These earliest years of study
were strictly classical. After a decade of classroom and
private instruction devoted to classical music, I
shifted my focus toward jazz music and contemporary
composition.
Since 1995, I have been
applying my in depth knowledge and abilities of the
digital music world, DSP (Digital Sound Processing) and
MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) to name a
few. Likewise, I have recorded and engineered in many
studios around the DC-Area. My work as a contemporary
studio session musician, producer, arranger, and
composer can be found on urban hip-hop and gospel albums
to classical and rock music recordings.
My main goal is to teach
each student according to their individual disposition,
goals, and abilities. Likewise, each student will be
encouraged to learn how to read music as well as further
their understanding of basic music theory. As an
independent artist, I know first hand the confidence and
advantage that studying and understanding music theory
develops. My techniques include anything from listening
to and deciphering intervals and chords, to studying
from printed material, and many things in between.
