I have always been
interested in fitness but it was not until I discovered weight training
and yoga that I really began to understand how a comprehensive lifestyle
would affect change in body composition.
Physical fitness is just a small part of overall health, and only one of
the steps in achieving your overall goals. Whether our goals are weight
loss/gain, flexibility or hypertrophy, incorporating nutrition and
stress management into our lifestyle is essential.
Since most of our lives are spent outside the gym, it is the choices we
make then that will make or break our fitness goals. Ask yourself “Do I
make healthy food choices? Have I created an outlet to relieve stress?”
When working with my clients, I try to instill the importance of
creating a well-rounded program. Being aware of your body and how it
moves can tremendously affect results.
